Wheel-lift towing, sometimes referred to as hook-and-chain towing, allows the front or rear wheels to roll while the other set is supported by a wheel-lift. If performed by an inexperienced tow truck operator, this method can damage drivetrains, transmissions, and tires. Flatbed towing lifts all four wheels completely off the ground, which is the manufacturer preferred option for most all-wheel drive and four-wheel drive vehicles. Yes. Commercial truck battery systems are different from passenger vehicles, and we’re equipped and trained to handle multi-battery 12V and 24V systems. We’ve seen it all — batteries that won’t hold a charge in extreme Idaho cold, batteries that need a pull-start sequence rather than a standard jump, and everything in between. If your rig won’t start, call us and we’ll figure it out.
We’ll jump-start you first. A tow is the last resort, not the first move. Our operators carry professional-grade jump-start equipment and will get you going whenever possible. We also know that what looks like a dead battery is sometimes a failing alternator, bad starter, or another underlying issue — so we’ll give you an honest assessment on the spot. Heavy Duty Towing
Yes. We regularly perform decking, undecking, and trailer exchanges as part of our heavy-duty towing operations. If you need the tractor and trailer handled separately, or need the trailer stored at our secure facility while the tractor goes to a shop, we can coordinate all of that for you. We also have forklifts on-site to assist with cargo management.
Depending on the nature of the load, the damage to the truck, and the recovery situation, we can often transport a loaded trailer. In cases where the load needs to be secured, shifted, or transferred to a different trailer, we handle that as part of our recovery and towing service. We’ll assess the situation when we arrive and give you an honest rundown of the safest and most efficient approach.
