Dwaine Lee’s journey with B&W Wrecker began at 16, when he started working for founder Keith Schultz. In 1980, when Keith retired, he sold the company to his top four drivers—including Dwaine. Within a few years, Dwaine purchased his partners’ shares to become sole owner, a position he’s held ever since.

The towing industry runs deep in Dwaine’s family. He and his six siblings grew up around the City View Wrecking yard where their father worked, and their mother later spent many years as a dispatcher for B&W. Over the decades, most of his siblings, numerous nieces and nephews, and his wife have all contributed to the company’s growth.

Under Dwaine’s leadership, B&W has expanded from eight tow trucks and one old boom truck into a full-service operation with over thirty wreckers, a fleet of forklifts, two cranes, side dumps, backhoes, and specialized backcountry and water recovery equipment. Today, Dwaine is proud to employ over 25 people—all of whom he considers family.
